Does anyone have suggestions or better yet experience on where to get decent next to factory quality floor mats? Embroidery is always a plus. I've seen the ones on ebay..... anyone had experience?

I threw the idea out few months back on getting some made. They would cost about $70 for a set of fronts. no text though but good quality custom made stuff. There ware no takers.

Pioneer, I don't even ever remember you posting that. There are a ton of people willing to get some. I'd buy 2 sets of blue today as long as the driver's side had a heel pad, etc.

I would like embroidery though... could always get that done locally I guess.

I had my center console lids made for both the supra and my cressida. The same guy said he can replicate the Toyota Floor mats that are in my supra for about $35 a piece. good quality stuff with rubber backing. will come in colors you want. If you want embroidery, he will have to send them out to get that done and will cost extra $

Let me know, I'd be in for 2 sets.

Floor mats are easy - unless you want embroidery and then things get all messed up.

Back in 2001 when I got my leather done I found a place online - in Florida I think - that said they could do my floor mats. I had them match the same mountain logo on the floor mats that I have on the front seats. They are GREAT! They put the rubber backing on AFTER they were embroidered and then finished the edges. Very clean looking.

Most shops will have the template for the factory floor mats.

Good point Keith. I actually know a place in town that does mats of good quality, I'm likely having them do me a set for my Corolla, but I have a feeling getting a group buy going may be cheaper.

I played the idea of a group buy through the company in town but the facts are, MKIII owners are some poor folk with a lot of dreams. They will do all the talk but when it comes time to put the $ down, they all run away.

Yeah, I've been hearing about floor mats for a year now from various people, nothing ever happens. I think I would be better off to just get them made for myself I guess.

I still have my original floor mats, front and back. I just cleaned them yesterday. The back ones are in mint condition, and the passenger front is in great shape also. but the driver one has a hole on the middle right side, kinda sucks.

My floor mats suck dick... I am not sure if they are even originals; but I get in and out of my car a LOT and the mat slides underneath my gas pedal and I can't go WOT sometimes... Happened when I barely pulled on a 89 GTI with a vr6 swap... =(
