Hi, my name is special_ops9 / Chris Kelly. I just bought a Supra last week as a 21st birthday present to myself, along with a bottle of 1800 :icon_razz I had been looking for clean turbo 5sp for months until came across this fine piece of machinery;
The car was a '87 automatic N/A with a blown head gasket, not quite what I was looking for but the body was so straight and for the 255k on it it seemed to be in amazing condition. I went for it, only paid 1/6th what I had allotted, deciding to swap in a 1jz rather then build up a 7m. I'm beginning the project with body and suspension work, currently stripping everything from the engine bay to begin shaving some holes then on to replacing every last bushing and mount. Here are a few more pictures, plus one of my DD, I'm headed to the barn to do some more tear down until work.
