my arp box says torque them to 94 that what mine are torqued to no problems yet!


welcome like everyone else said maintenance before mods.

Really, thats kinda high. I've never heard of anyone going over 80ft. lbs. but if your runnin good then more "power" to ya lol.

OP, if you got the HG done, then replace any scetchy looking or all rubber (aka recirc or vaccum lines), they can be a pain when they fail.

How many miles you got on the motor with that torque? My machine shop told me any more than 80 ft. lbs. would stress crack the head in time. Different materials between the block and head ( iron vs. aluminum) mean different characteristics when heat, vibration, boost, etc. are applied. Most of it was physics and technical talk that went mostly over my head, but the basic point was that it was a bad deal for long-term or dd duty. Not sayin' it's the gospel truth, just repeatin' what I was told and givin' my $.02 worth according to my own experiences.
