So, started out rough, but in the end, I am happy with my results. I had guessed the car would go high 14's with the mods installed. Exhaust, intake, and hard pipes.. Thats it on the mods. Boost jumped from 8ish to 10ish but was never consistent. The car has weak spark at low RPM's for some reason so it's hard to launch. Anyway, here's what my 3600lb turd ran.
1st pass, 1K launch, fell on it's face.
RT-----------.4280
60 ft--------2.8100
330 ft-------6.9687
1/8 ET-----10.3020
1/8 MPH----74.87
1000' ET---13.0889
1000' MPH--87.40
1/4 ET-----15.4388
1/4 MPH----97.00

2nd pass, 2K launch, fell on it's face again on the launch.
RT-----------.7409
60 ft--------2.5599
330 ft-------6.6012
1/8 ET------9.8150
1/8 MPH----77.82
1000' ET---12.5421
1000' MPH--89.84
1/4 ET-----14.8181
1/4 MPH----99.81

3rd pass. Got pissed off, dropped it at 4K. Didn't fall on it's face, rather, the clutch slipped through 1st and bottom of 2nd...
RT-----------.2151
60 ft--------2.2968
330 ft-------6.2309
1/8 ET------9.4568
1/8 MPH----77.61
1000' ET----12.1868
1000' MPH---89.63
1/4 ET------14.4697
1/4 MPH-----99.37

I feel one more pass I coulda dropped it to the low 14 or high 13 range as I was just getting my shift points down. I found the car doesn't like being taken to redline and 5-5500 is a good spot to shift.

I have a few vids of the passes but can't figure out how to get them on my computer. It's not a digi cam, it's a few years old and uses the small cassette tapes. I have some cables and stuff. The vids aren't very good though, only 1 was good, the other were all shaky bc my lil bro is a sissy and was shivvering... Lame..

So, The car now has MSD GM coils, Lex AFM, PTE 580cc injectors, and boost at 16ish psi.. Hopefully I can drop it into the 13's now... I had a MSD DIS 4 on it, but I'm still trying to figure that out and it still doesn't work..

While I'm here, whats the max boost you can run on a Lex AFM? I know it raises fuel cut, but I'm now sure to what psi.. Thanks

it feels best to shift sooner, but try holding the gear longer. i remember reading a thread about this a while ago. one guy said to hold the gear as long as you can, because inbetween gears, you'll be coasting at a higher speed, and thats just one more reason to shift later. with your mods, you should probably shift all the way at redline.
