Alright my swap is finally nearing its end and is almost road worthy..

Questions are this: I have a Trust 3" DP, Blitz Nur Spec, FMIC w/ 2.5" piping, intake as well. These things will be installed right off the bat when the car is being swapped.

But I also have: jdm 440cc injectors, an AFC Neo, Greddy profec B spec II, Greddy SLD and Greddy BCC.

Should any of these ^^^ be added to the first combination right off the bat, or should I wait until the car runs perfectly before adding them?.. I want the car to run smoothly during its start up and test drive without problems from any mods other than perhaps boost cut obviously, however thats normal for now.

These answers are going to determine what course I take to start up and test drive the car.. Afterwards all these things will be installed in order to dyno tune the car most likely a few days later.

;) Hey tissimo, are wiring these in extremely hard?.. see I'm not gonna be doing the wiring, mechanic is and he's never done a 1jz swap before.

now I have the 1jz-gte.us and supras.nl sites logged for the actual diagrams and info, but is that enough in order to wire this 92 1j into my 87 turbo?

I guess I'm just a little worried, but I wont have to be if he has all the stuff he needs to do it (reading and info wise).

They just dont seem to be decisive for the '87 and I'm aware there are subtle differences in wiring apparently.

Not really hard. If you know how to locate pins in the harness and solder you should be good. They're fairly straight forward.

Yea the 1jz-gte.us is all I ever used on wiring 1jzs.

Actually, if you just want to get the car running, I installed some JDM 440's on my car and the ECU was able to correct my low throttle fuel trims with zero correction on my afc, until I started getting into WOT. I was able to drive regularly on zero correction and still run a perfect A/F ratio. Gotta love the stock ECU!!:biglaugh:

Thanks Tim, I've heard that it can correct just as you said without load.. But that didnt really bother me as much as just getting the car as stable as humanly possible before shooting for the 350whp.
