FIPG for Freeze Plug???????

I asked, and received good information on replacing my freeze plugs. Those instructions told me to use Permatex#1 around the outer edge. Would FIPG do just as well? I have a fresh tube of that. I just left Toyota picking up my freeze plugs, and will be installing them very soon. Your help will be appreciated.

Also, should the plugs be flush with the block, or slightly indented?

I use Permatex #4

The top ot the plug should be at the bottom of the chamfer in the block.

Thanks IJ! I'm stuck home with the cable guy and attacking this once he leaves. I will go get some Permatex first.
