Finding leaks in the turbo?

Ok so I'm still working on finding this elusive leak on my car. I assumed the turbo could be a possibility and it could still be likely since when I took off the IC today it had some oil in it. The thing is I want to know if there is a definitive way to identify a turbo leak while the turbo is off of the car. Also is a thin white chalky look on the wastegate and exhaust fins normal? I should take a pic and show where the oil stains show up also. But that's for later I need a break.

it's normal for the intercooler to have oil in it, and a company named Turbo Tools manufactures a pressure tester for the turbo to test leakage, it can be found in Turbo magazine July 2006 issue page 20 or give them a call at (631) 585-5450
