Finally watched Silent Hill *Spoilers! possibly so beware*

I just recently watched this movie at a friends house 3 days ago, I know this was most likely discussed before but damn I had to talk about it.


First off, I LOVED the direction, this one actually felt like I could be watching a video from the game almost. Its a game to movie adaptation, so thats what I want to see. The camera angles were nothing short of perfect for this movie, the CG for 99% was amazing as well. They really did their research and took their time with this film, granted they changed a few things, but they compiled 2 or 3 games into one film, they had to.

I cant say any part made me jump, not the right setting I guess, but the part when Pyramid Head rips off that chicks skin... I keep telling my friend even today, sickest fuckin thing I have ever seen haha. The movie was gory, but so was the game. I never beat any of the games so I missed out on a few things, but I never heard the endings either. So to discover that the silent hill Rose, Cybil and Sharon were in was in fact purgatory or something like it. If you think from that direction I think its easier to understand. The ending being that of them going to say goodbye to loved ones before they move on, granted they thought they were alive, but it was coming.

Anyone else have any opinions or anything?

yeeeah...it honestly threw me for a loop at the end, where she was "watching" him lay on the couch, but wasnt really ya know? great movie i must say, i liked it better then resident evil:)..hmm what next parasite eve?

thatd be sweet. Actually, haha, Resident Evil 3 is in the final works, Halo is coming and then the guy who directed RE is doing Metal Gear Solid.

Yeah I have it on my PSP emulator, I got pretty far then lsot the save, got all the way back, happened again, I havent been past the future yet.

the first one, I raced him, I got way further, fought a boss, damn I dont remember how far it was, 3 or 4 hours, I LOVE that game though.

I found my save state for the old emulator but the new one wont take it. Hrmm, I was out there too. I gotta figure this out.

5 mins in and Im stuck, I was ont he elevator, went down again, got to a door.. Door lock ZABIE operational, enter password... wtf?

Check the computer to learn two special codes: XA and BB. Leave and go into the left room. You'll have to fight several enemies, but you can pick up a Shelter and an Ether. Just below the treasures is a second door which accesses the crane. Input the two codes you got two remove the barrels from the walkway below. Leave this room and go down the ladder. Head left and you'll reach a room which contains a computer which will give you a special access code: XABY. There's also a Bolt Sword here in case you missed the one in the Sewer Access. Return to the conveyor belt and ride it east a little to get an Ether (don't touch the robots here or a crane will take you back to the beginning of the conveyor belts). You can get off the conveyor belt just east of there. Before going back up the elevator, head to the area just below the ladder that leads to it. Go down the left ladder here and walk west until you reach a treasure. Inside is a Robin Bow for Marle. Also look around insie the open door just west of the elevator and you'll find a Mid Ether. Go up the elevator, fight past the Debuggers in the hall, and take the left elevator down a level. Here you'll find a save point, so use a Shelter if you need it. Head through the door and fight off the Acids and Alkalines there. When you beat them the computer will open a hatch which leads downstairs. Take the Shelter from the treasure and descend. Walk left through the hall and then turn down. You'll have to beat Acids and Alkalines along the way, but they're no big deal. Head right and then go through the door there. In this room you'll find two treasures: a Hammer Arm for Robo, and also a Titan Vest. The computer here will deactivate all the remaining security lasers, but a large gang of Acids and Alkalines will try to stop you. Take the ladder in the lower left corner of this room down a level and head north until your path is blocked. Pick up the Plasma Gun on the left and use the XABY code on the computer to open the door

oh hey phoenix btw man...my names Tommy haha, but theres a couple more rpgs u should check out if your into chrono trigger, some for ps and super...im not a big fan of the new rpgs with all the graphics and kids shit...no real story line.
