well i've been driving my car for about 7 months, with mismatched wheels, but i finally got some new tires to finally throw on, yusss
(don't mind that dent, the previous owner took it over a dip too quickly and bent up the front end slightly, very minor frame damage :[ )

wheels: 17x7 +42 (yea they aren't the best specification for a supra :[, but they were cheap and looked decent)

the car is not turbo, but i'm hoping to go na-t sometime

Fellow Houston inhabitant,
nice job on the new set. Like you said not the perfect specs for a Supra (I have the exact same specs on my wheels btw, and Im hoping for an upgrade here soon as well) but they look decent enough.

Awwww I thought you of all people would have the drift status wheels!!!

Ehh oh well they're better than mismatched ugly ones... and I could see some spacers in the future for those wheels.

No No I meant Drfit status as in ideally a 18 x 10 R +22 18 x 9 F +26 with about 235 series tires on the rear and 225 series on the front.

But hey nice wheels anyways.

235 on a 10in wheel would be dumb. 225 on a 9 sucks too

hah, id kinda have to agree with Joe here, stretched tires look dumb and are just impractical (easier to get curb rash and etc).

Well, I'm not a mad tyte drifter. There's no reason to run any less tire than I can fit with whatever width/offset/ride height.

Anyway, back on topic. ;)

oh my bad, i thought you guys were referring to the mismatched wheels (usually people have mismatched wheels during events b/c the tires get worn out)

but yea, if i get some spare cash i might look into a spare set and have some real drift status wheels :naughty:
