the 2.5ttr torsen? It's going to break.

I take it you're going to do a 1.5jz? Why not just use the 1jz wiring for a 2jz longblock. It works and people have done it. It'll be less work and the 2jz head flows better.

i got an engine set comes with the 154 w/1jz bell housing, the lsd is from a 7mgte.
i basically got this vvti engine from a buddy for free. wiring is cut, sensors are broken. i would of tried to drop it in but too much piecing together stuff and sensors arent cheap. please tell me more about the 1jz wiring harness fitting the 2jz.
i know the block isnt 100% plug and play, u got the dipstick and waterpipes, timing covers, etc. but i figure with the free block, alittle bit of work wont be too bad. if it doesnt work, ill be straight with the 2.5. but ju guys should see the insides of this block, looks great! thanks for the input!

If you're planning 1.5 from the start, just get a 2J.

1.5JZ is not as easy as slapping a block on a head.

I beg to differ. It's just that easy, slap the 1JZ head on a 2JZ block. If it's a 2J-GE block, then you have small issues, but nothing a 2.5mm headgasket and a set of taps/drill bits can't cure.

Too bad you got a VVTi engine.

500RWHP max without meth is pushing it for the 550's IMO on 93.

I wouldn't use the underdrive crank pulley if you got that in the Egay kit unless you are cranking the 2.5l liter motor to 9K to really make some use of it all. It's really really small compared to ALL the other ones (fluidamper, Ati, stock). I have a picture of them all together I need to get off my camera... And there's no balancer on it.

i didnt get the crank pulley, just the acc. pulleys. thats only because im using the mech. fan and needed the pulley.
