Building my engine! I expected to have the car running weeks after the NA engine went down, bt problem after problem after problem left me two months behind where I wanted to be. Anyway I had a few friends come over and we built the bottom end up. 'bout to measure displacement and I'm going to order my HG tomorrow and hopfully have her running soon! Yay!

Looks good! Going with stock pistons :( You should upgrade while they are out!!! But I do think you are doin a superb job, keep it up!

No reason too spend the money where it won't be needed :)

And so far, for the first time in this rebuild, things are going very smoothly. Thanks to help from friends :)

wow - that brings back some memories. Best of luck to you. I was going with stock pistons until i realized the cylinder walls were out of spec, then I had to go with something a little more ;) keep us informed!

makes me wish i painted my block, but the motor i just (almost) finished building wont be in there for long. maybe a year at most before i pull it again and put in the motor i'm going to build next summer. ;)

Make sure you get or already got that front timing cover decked and matched to the block.

eh, my buddy danny was just hangin around for a bbq we had later that night and p5150 came over just to help... he got a pepsi out of the deal though ;)
