Finally got them back!

Two EXTREMELY nice looking valve covers and the heat shield!!! Might get them on this weekend,but its going to take some cleaning to get them just right! New gaskets,and all the fasteners are going to be replacd with stainless steel allen head,gonna look sharp!!

I never had a problem with fel-pro valve cover gaskets...

^ jebus, not to jack the thread but whats that called the kind of finish? or whatever that does that crazy colorchanging thing once it's been heated a few times. like the tip on titanium exhaust tips...

It's just the color change that happens when they cut the titanium IIRC.

i've seen it on some stainless steel though, thats why i thought it was a finish it may have just been the heat that some headers make though...

you can get that "aurora" effect (seen on the ti exhaust tips or a few other metals) by either running an extremely high current of electricity through the metal or by exposing it to pretty frikking hot temperatures. least, thats the way it was done on a few custom 'cockers and angels (pb)

parts look great, cant wait to see the finished product!

I got a set of gaskets from the dealer,the covers cost $180 to be polished,and the cover was $95 chromed
