I had a great time yesterday. I was in the mid level group where all the other cars had some form of competition tire. I hung in there with them. Fortunately nothing broke! The photographer there got a few cool pics of me, what do you think?

How many other guys here road race their MKIII?

did you notice much tire wear? i'm curious how fast one goes through a set of tires.

The track is Thunderhill in northern california. it was hot out there too, probably close to 85-90 degrees but windy as shit. there was a company called gotbluemilk.com that took the pics. i ended up paying $60 for a CD of about 20pics which was a bit pricey, but he caught some really nice action shots. i didnt realize my car rolled so much.

Here's what im running on

Tein HA
Whiteline Front Sway
Tanabe Rear Sway Bar
Cusco F/R strut bars
19x9 265/30/19
19x10.5 285/30/19

the teins are borderline too stiff for me on the streets at its softest setting but way to soft for the track. my front tire was scraping the top of my fenderwell on some of the harder turns or on dips in the turns. I have probably 3" of travel from the top of the tire to the fender lining. With my current setup, it was very neutral.
