You should look into selling the rears and getting a wider set so you can have the concavity.

I was planning on it... i want at least 17x9 in the rear...

These right now are 17x8 with +43.
I'm debating selling them all... my friend with an eclipse wants to buy them off me, so i might just sell him two so i can get bigger rears, just not sure yet.

If i put new tires on the rims, how wide can i got on an 8'' wide rim? and how wide on a 9''?

id keep a 8 or nine inch tire on the front and go 10 inch wheel/tire in the back :evil2:

usually when you look at tires it tells you the suggested rim width.
on my momo's 16x8 i ran 245/45/16 on my 17x9.5 i run 275/50/17
i would say on a 9" wide, go with a 255 at least

The biggest issue holding me back from that is spending the money on tires... 255-275 are expensive... at least the GOOD ones are.

When i was driving the car last night though, it was driving funny... so i went to work today, at 3:30AM in san jose, and when i got home, i started my car, and i check the tires pressure.

Front: 25/24
Rear: 20/20

i was like WTF!!?!?!?

So now there

Front: 30psi
Rear: 28psi

is that a good pressure for daily driving?
