Does/has anyone ran a fidana alum. fly with a six puck on an r154? if so did it see a little,, harsh, upon engagement? i may just be over reacting, but when i finally did move my car the other day just up the street, while slipping the clutch in general is virtually impossible, when it did occur while pulling out, the car shook like you would not believe,, now it doesnt make any noise, so i dont think its like a pilot or throwout bearing and i replaced them both anyways, but it was just kinda humorous at first(thinking the car has enough power to shake itself lol jk) anybody have similar problems? the only other thing i can think of is that some of the vibration im feeling is from the sogi mod.

Does it go away if you rev it higher and slip it more instead? I ran into the harshness on mine running a puck disc / stock PP / RPS flywheel, but you adapt your clutching to match after a while.

this is completely normal with a six puck clutch...

a clutch works off pressure, Pressure=Force/Area, so since a six puck has less area for engagement, the pressure gets larger with a the same force (your engines torque output) making you suddenly apply more pressure than you are used to

i have stock flywheel/pp with a six puck sprung disk and have the same judders when i take off at lower RPM's, like GrimJack said, you just gotta rev it up a bit higher to take off without as much juddering

6puck/fidanza lw flywheel, YEP! more revs and less time on the clutch pedal help. You'll find there's a sweet spot that gets the car moving as smooth as an auto trans. But it does take work to be smooth!

yea, it does get easier when i rev it thanks guys. it was just kinda funny running it with just a dp and then i start to let out the clutch and the car shakes,,,, i thought i was driving a tank lmao... thanks guys, and as for what clutch and pp. i believe the clutch is a cheaper one, an xtr or something, not an xtd lol.it is sprung, and the pp was from a stage 2 clutch kit but i cant for the life of me remember the name,, regardless thanks guys much appreciated.

I ran my 6 puck with a Fidanza flywheel and a stock flywheel and it chatters on both, but less with stock flywheel.
