ffi alt prob solved ?

well i was out in the yard looking at some motors and i notiice some thing

the 5m and the 7m have the same bolt holes aka where our steering is there alt is there

if you whould just take the braket and slide tentioner it will bolt up to the 7m

extened the wires and you are done and they make belt for that size as well cause i have it done to my car but i made up braket for it

i have not tested this but it whould work bad side lose power streeing buti hate power streing any way

the reson why toyota reuses alt of parts so this should work

andyou can all ways in long gate the holes for ajustment

best part is alt is away from fule this is good thing in case of fule leak

True, it looks as though our CPS would keep us from locating our power steering pump to where the mkii is though... (for those of us retaining PS)

wow. I have a 7M-GTE MKII, and I hate power steering too. and I have a
a spare 5M motor complete... Interesting idea.

it can be done i think just have to pull off the pumpall the time and it whouldneed soem bending and crapand the end it will look like ass

has any one tried it for shit and giggles i tried it and you knwo what it works

you have to enlonggat the hole's a tad and grind the bracket it self the alt little fat and bang it work's

i wish i new this befor cause it whould have saved me sometime



any ways there the cheep root of doing the alt relocat
