A little history on the Supra...
I found the car in May of 2007 on a day I stayed home from school sick. An older Asian man pulls up in the car so I asked him if I could take a took at the Supra. I had been waiting for a nice MK3 Supra Turbo to buy for a year and a half. He offered to sell the car for $5000 and I ended up driving it away for $4600 two days later.
The Supra had one owner, 67k original miles, turbo, targa, white package, auto trans, near perfect interior, and was bone stock.
I have very few pictures of when I first got the car. Heres an old iPhone pic...

Right after I got the car I joined SM, SF and DFWmkiv. I only had the car for a week when May meet 2007 rolled around

I was able to get Kurt to take this pic for me at May meet 2008...

First I cleaned up the few flaws in the interior and replaced leaky hoses. I ended up taking the car to Christian in Garland to install a MHG before anything went wrong. I went to work on the car a few months later and began doing light modifications like a K&N FIPK, gutting the cat, divorced downpipe, 60 trim CT-26 and Blitz CF edition EBC. The car stayed that way for a good while until I could decide what I would be doing with it. I later decided to slowly collect parts that I could use on the 7M or a JZ motor.

Sergio picked up his car sometime around here...

The auto trans gave me quite a bit problems and even made the car stay home during TX2K10. I wanted a 5spd in the first place so we decided to swap it in just a couple weeks before TX2K11. I placed an order at Shaftmasters and Driftmotion.com(both were great sites and had good service BTW) for most of the parts I needed.

I picked up the trans and Spec stage 3 clutch from locals for great prices.

The old input shaft seal started leaking after the install so we had to pull and re-install the trans again :eek:h:

We worked through Sunday night and Monday morning. I literally finished the car, walked inside, took a shower and left to work

The swap actually ended up looking factory. Crappy pics...

I've always kept the bay clean but recently I wanted to clean it up a little more. We deleted Cruise Control, EGR, ABS and did a wire tuck.

Well a piston cracked in the summer of 2012 and the Supra has been down ever since while we focused on the mile car. I've decided to stay 7M on this car putting down 700ish wheel. I've been collecting parts and the block is at the machine shop now. Pics coming soon

Very nice build! You and your brother both have some super nice Supras. I'm also glad to see you didn't give up after the accident. So many people do, and it is quite sad. I also really like that picture in your signature, that's a great picture.

That's cool that you decided to build another high powered 7M especially with your bro already making 8xx RWHP. This is going to be a dope ass build.

Haha thank you very much! If all goes well, we'll be spraying this weekend.

I'll try to break down the swap to the best of my memory.
Trans $250 (I'm a deal finder lol)
Aluminum Driveshaft $400
Clutch $400
Clutch hub $40
Clutch pedal $30
SS clutch hose $38
Clutch master cylinder $55
Slave $40
I might be missing a few parts but that was the bulk of it.

Update. I kept changing my mind and taking the bay further little by little. And then I realized how much I hate body work lol. Work slowed down for awhile. I had DD issues with my Toyota Pickup so I picked up a much needed reliable daily :naughty:

Couldn't help myself...

I met a local who was willing to finish the project so we finally got back to work. Pics to come
