Fel Pro 7mgte throttle body gasket screw up

here is what fel pro is selling for our throttle bodies

got it from rock auto. but every other store has the same exact gasket. even the fel pro full gasket kits include this screw up. the center measures 1.4"

according the rock auto. 40 other people ordered this and didn't complain. bolt holes line up. but this is wrong.

That looks to be a paper gasket. Just mount and trace the opening and cut it with an exacto. Should be quite simple.

Yeh, I got the same one. After coming to the same conclusion as you, everyone sold the same one, I cut mine with an exacto, works good.

I think the "real" TB gasket was metal lined with a rubber coating. I always see those wrong gaskets in the cheap gasket kits, it densest make any sense.

That's what I got in my DM gasket kit. I just cut the opening to the correct size... but now I need another one, since I'm going to yank the upper intake manifold tomorrow.

Round end of a ball peen and an empty cereal box if your cheap. Original gasket is metallic.

Most gasket sets I've seen include that one as well as the correct one, even though they are both listed as the throttle body gasket.

I took off my restrictor plate. But that is on the down low....

This is exactly what I did. Just trace and cut the hole to be bigger, no big deal. I traced the inside of a 2.5 inch ic coupler and worked fine lol.
