I own a 91 mkiii turbo for about 8 years now . Its been a rocky relationship first the trany goes out fix that then the head gasket blows fix that now its running on 4 cylinders and dumping oil out of the blow off vlave. im done with the 7m and in the process of installing a 2j.

sorry to hear about your troubles. The 7m has some issues but is usually a very reliable engine when those have been taken care of. Good luck with your swap and prepare to spend a lot of money doing so
Mikey, welcome to supramania, and hopefully you'll find the info you need here for your swap. It's going to be expensive though.......somewhere between six and ten thousand I would say. You can have your 7m rebuilt for about two grand, but the choice is yours. Good luck.
