Ok, I'm looking to get some new wheels soon. I am also going to get my car painted soon as well. I want to fit a 17x11 wheel under the rear.. and a 17x9-10 up front.. 315 in the rear w/ a 255 up front.. so what offset and what not do I need, will it even fit. I am going to get my car painted so need to do any boddy modding before (rolled fenders / pulled fenders or whatever).

not really sure what you need to do, but i heard of MANY people that run just 275's in the here on 17x9's that have to roll the fender and cut a little off, and it still cuts it very close. good luck buddy! when you get this done, i for sure want to see pictures!!!

Damn, well I just heard back from the wheel company and they havn't worked on a mkiii in a LONG time so they are not sure what would fit. they said to bring the car up there and they'd measure it out. I guess I will do that in a month or so..

I think supra Nick or whatever his name is had 18x10.5?? and he had to mod the body a little bit. anyone else on wide wheels?

oh yea, there will deff be pics once its done (6 months or so.. still gotta save some cash)

OK so i just got new rims the other day. I am running 19"/8.5 up front and 19"/10 in the rear. Tyres are 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. Offset are 35 front and 38 rear. No rubbing on this set up but i will say that if i had a wider tyre on this set up it would hit the rear arch as the rim sticks out past the body.
Here are some pics.

I have 18x8.5" front and 18x9.5" rear with 245/40 and 265/35 and I've caught my front right fender once and pulled it down. I'm a big advocate of wide rims and tires and I'd like to get my fenders professionally rolled when I get back to CA.

Good luck with that fat of a rim setup.

Here are a couple pictures of my Supra for reference.
