Faster response?

So I see an aluminum or carbonfiber driveshaft will improve throttle response. Is it worth it to get one? Also, what other components come in lighter counterparts that will give noticeable throttle response gains?

Thanks!

Yeah, that also means no carrier bearing to absorbe some shock, so now it goes to the driveline parts instead. Saying that tho, I'll still buy an aluminum one eventually :)

i'm guessing a lighter driveshaft wiil improve responce because of the reduction of rotational mass.

a big one is a light weight flywheel. it reduces mass and revs quicker, but there is a down side; youmust rev the motor more on takeoff and if you quickly push in the clutch and let the rpms drop rappidly, the car might die.(not shure if this is true with a resipricating motor but it is with a rotory.

What about a lightweight flexplate for us auto guys? Any CF/Al flexplates available for us?
