Fast Food at the Olympics... Is this real?

If I had to try it I would stick to the seafood. I hear that seafood can make your "hung low" - "hang high"
They had a whole segment devoted to the weird food in China on channel 4 during the olympic coverage, they said in China they will "fry absolutely anything".
Ah come on guys.... are you telling me you didn't know they eat bugs and critters in asia?!
Nevermind animals we consider as pets, live octopus on a stick, then there is medicine made from animals such as bears and tigers and whales and I dunno what else.... gee, I even saw something on how they made super fresh fish (you pick one from the aquarium and then they take it out and fry it the way it is and if you are lucky it will even still move somewhat on the plate) and then there is also the all time favourite... fugu (don't think I'd be willing to take that risk tho).

Don't see anything abnormal about it. It all depends on how you were raised, i'm sure for certain people in india, grinding up a cow and slapping it between two pieces of bread to eat it sounds pretty repulsive too.

Most Americans are just too sheltered to eat this food. America and Americans waste so much food its ridiculous compared to most other countries. When an animal is killed most other places utilize the whole thing, compared to the little we use. Someone just sat back one day and said, how can I cook this seahorse, and I guess it worked!

Same with lobsters and crabs. Scorpion is closely related, they are probably gonna be the next big thing!
It's not fast food or commonly sold but you can find some really weird stuff being sold in stalls in China. The insects I haven't seen before in person but I've actually had a bit of stingray before =\
