I've had a small coolant leak from my PWR rad for quite some time now coming from the threads on the barb that go to the overflow tank. So today I go to try and fix the leak and low and behold THE THREADS ARE GONE. I just unthreaded it and it turned about twice and then just fell out no threads on it to be found and a like story on the rad itself. Now I go to call PWR to get a new rad (if they don't, I have a leaky PWR rad thats 3 months old for sale cheap :) ) and I realize its saturday. So, now I'm carless for an indefinite amount of time, since of course my foolish self junked the stocker.

^^ yes, i've had great success with jb weld. do both of the above. re-tap it, put in an oversize fitting, AND jb weld it. it's almost guaranteed success!
