i found if you are spining the pump on the belt and cant break them lose, grabe another 10mm and use i across from the one your breaking lose, go all the way around, and by the time you break the last one lose it takes alot less effort to untighten one of the lose ones you had to put the wrench back on to break the last one lose..

hope that made sense..

Before you do that vice grip thing, try using a 10mm box end wrench. It's a tight fit but you can get one on if you jiggle around the wrench. If you use an open-end wrench you will round the bolts 50% of the time.

You lost me here... how is your pump leaking because your torque wrench is broken?

If it's leaking, just tighten it a hair more. My torque rating on water pump bolts (after cleaning ALL THE THREADS OUT <-- important step people ignore) is hand tight + 1/8 turn.

If everything is clean between the gasket mating surfaces, with a new gasket, it does not take much preload to hold everything together nicely.

im sorry, the pump is leaking between the gasket and the block, and i dotn ever overtigtne my bolts because i am never sure and i do not want to break a bolt inside there. It is leakign a bit because of this. Not a big issue but im sorry i have to exzplain better sometimes >_<

okay, so now my belt is sweaking somewhere inside the bay. does it mean i put it on too tight, or can it be because of my bearings being old or the pulley being unbalanced for some reason? Any help is appreciated..
