Factory Alarm Q's

on our 90T, theres a security light on the dash in the cluster area... what kind of system is it? Did our car come with keyless entry? B/c today I set off the alarm somehow and now the car won't start. Is there a way to reset it? Is there a way to disable the factory alarm? Thanks in advance.

You turn the key to unlock the door on whichever door you locked it on.

basically it only sets off if someone forcibly opens doors/hatch/hood without properly unlocking the vehicle. it then kills the starter and sets off the lights and horn.

disabling: disconnect the hood pin switch and jumper the wires in the wiring harness connector. jumper on the wiring harness side, not the switch side. pins 1&3

i got it. just had to use the key in the door. fixed. thanks.

or look in the "informative links" sticky at the top of the 7m tech section. there's a link in there called "factory alarm fixes" and it has lots of good info in it.
