External Wastegate Vac lines, will this work?

Hey guys, I'm setting up my external WG to be used with my EBC...

Directions for the EBC say to set it up like this:

I was wondering if there would be any ill effects of running it like this?:

one is referenced in the ic pipe, which may or may not be post ic whereas the other is directly off the turbo.

the only difference would be if you referenced it in the ic pipe after the ic. there will be a pressure differential (how much depends on the boost and effeciency) if you do it that way. i always tap the feed before the ic, so either directly off the turbo (tee) or pre-ic in the pipe will be fine.
