a wet sump has the oil stored in the oil pan. A dry sump plumbs the oil to an external resevoir. This keeps oil from getting churned up in the crankshaft, as well as keeps the pump from getting starved during high g-force situations that would cause the oil to slosh away from the wet-sump pickup. Downside is cost.

I come from a land down under
Have a look at Aviad's site and Moroso's for starters.

Fabricating the parts needed is going to cost a bundle.

Put a post in Defiant7M's thead as well he'll be running dry on his stroker.

I dont see a "noise" problem with them, knowing that the new Corvette ZO6 has a dry sump system from the factory....somehow they had to make theirs "quiet"...

the dry sumps i have heard ( inside of cars) are not loud at all.....I mean, if you have a full ( straight piped) exhaust system...i DOUBT you will be whining about the dry sump systems "noise".... :icon_excl
