i just put my polished bic ddp test pipe and hks drager exhaust on my 89 supra turbo. it sounds good very quiet at idle and loud when u rev it up, wat i like about it is when u are just cruisin u can hear the turbo whistlin a little bit how does your supras sound? also i heard this setup is supposed to give me about 60 hp is this true?

not only that, but you just allowed the turbo to spool a LOT sooner, so the powerband is wider

60hp is only theoretical gain, expect no more then 30.

60HP at the CRANK maybe, but nowhere near that to the wheels, but a full exhaust does give a big difference to the overall driving experience and funness of the car (I think I made a new word just now...).

BIC Performance now offers a 3.5" catback exhaust that compliments the DDP very nice, and will flow for an unrestricted 650+ hp. There is some video clips in the BIC vendor section. I also offer a full package deal, if you purchase a downpipe and a catback, I will throw in a FREE 3" testpipe. PM me if interested.

HKS has a resonator, as does the tanabe...

it cuts down on drone, and is highly recommended to keep your sanity...

You'll want a resonator.

since you closing up the muffler a little at the end

The resonator is welded onto the piping. It'll make a slight restriction in the exhaust as it's not a straight piece of pipe in that area, but nothing to be worried over.

No, a resonator won't affect your performance in any noticeable way.

I am in love with my new Tanabe Hyper medallion. Super mellow tone at cruise and sounds insane at WOT. I actually felt a slight gain in power over my old 3" setup without the drowny noise.

yeah i would recomend the hks drager exhaust a big chrome exhaust pipe coming out the back. i will get pics and vids up as soon as i paint the car and put my drilled and slotted brakes and my lowered suspension on.
