Ok, im still relatively new to the supra and boost for the most part.. my question is if I buy a T4 turbo and a T4 turbo manifold, will I still need the turbo elbow or is that mostly for the CT-26 housing? and the CT-26 is considered what kind of turbo? or is the flange the same?

basically.. I would like to upgrade my turbo and exhaust system without just getting an upgraded CT turbo...

any help would be greatly appreciated..

A t4 described several different turbo. T4 is a flange style. You will need a t4 manifold. A t4 flaged turbo, an external wastegate and a new downpipe for this uprgade.....of course while taking care of your fuel and tuning upgrades

Right, I bought an aeromotive fpr kit along with a walbro 255 pump, 550cc injectors and my lexus afm.. I was looking at some relatively inexpensive turbo's on eBay, but I wonder about the quality, even If i have to replace them before winter lol.. just to try it out and see what kinda power I can make..

the turbo I had in mind was either a .70ar or .60ar trim to4b.. just not too sure how it'll hold up... I want to start piecing my exhaust together but not until I know what the hell im doing with the turbo lol..

What is your power goal? You can get a JT turbo or a Boss turbo from Comp Turbos for about $1100 and you can get about 500rwhp from that depending on your setup. You can still use your exhaust elbow and exhaust. If you go Full T4 you will need a new exhaust manifold, new dp, mostly custom piping for ic above the turbo, and a wastegate. It's up to you and your build.

Honestly, my power goal is gonna end up in the 1k range lol.. but for now.. at least until this upcoming winter, im just doing a fresh rebuild and trying to hit maybe 350-400 i'd say..

So my parts list started out with:

FPR system
Lexus AFM
550cc Injectors
Boost controller (Manual if I run out of money lol)
Downpipe
Header
Walbro 255

I didn't really look into it much but I'm assuming a stock CT-26 can't make 400whp, so that's why I was looking at upgrading the turbo/exhaust system..

I should probably look into an SAFC tuner or something similar.. what do the MKIII peeps usually use for a/f tuning?

I really appreciate the help everyone :)
maybe I should start a build thread? lol

I would be amazed if a stock ct26 breathed enought to produce 400+ figures

EDIT: I'm sorry I just reread and caught the can't in front of that 400....ahh 2 am a man is allowed an isnomnic induced failure in comprehension right:)

get 57trim ct26 or a sp/pt turbo. if your looking for 350-400 its going to cost more than 1k.
