anyone ever run thier exhaust out under the car straight from the dp? i have a full 3 1/2" system from the turbo back and i bottomed out so hard the other day that i cracked the flange for my fake cat. it leaks bad now so i was thinking about just chopping it off and selling the "cat back" pipe and fake cat and muffler. but i want to make sure im not going to melt my floor apart. anyone got an answer for me?

hmmm, my buddy does this with his 12 sec Turbo'd Civic... but be warned, it is LOUD and exhaust smell gets inside the cabin. i guess that is why he only drives it to and back from the track.

Nah... you're fine.

The "cat back" pipe... is it angled?
If so I'm might be interested... I need to replace my DP back piping.
if by angled you mean the muffler at the end is angled up towars the sky coming out from under the bumper? yes mine is. it comes out and kicks to the side and up a bit.
