Exhaust and passing inspection

dont matter for me, no emmisions in MA for pre OBDII cars :)

but yea it shouldnt matter, if the tester gets the WG open on an emissions test i would bitch slap him.

I was more refferring to state inspection. I would think as long as everything was hooked up securely and I had a cat after it they wouldn't really care.

Depends on how thorough the inspector is, and how much they know about the Supra. My smog tech didn't even know that the MKIII had two cats until I asked him if they both had to be there, he said he had never even looked before.

this is why you never volunteer information.

out of all 7 stickers i've gotten, the inspector has only done what he was supossed to once. all the other times he just checked the lights and horn and i was on my way. :)

smaller independent gas stations are usually the most lenient.

lucky for you MA no longer does emissions testing on all pre OBDII cars (95+ older) so you should have no problem just about anywhere.

True, but MA law prohibits exhaust modification of any type. Emissions don't matter, but having a three inch exhaust in place of a two and a half inch exhaust certainly does. I'm in search of someone who will overlook that.
