Good bad, or just plain ugly?

today a man offered me the front lip from an evo kit for 100 then he said he doesn't care about it so he'd let it go for 50 probably.

but aside from that, what do you guys think of that bumper/nose? i didnt find very good pics of it and the word "evo" doesnt work in the search box :3d_frown:

it would go on a black car, without any other body kit around the rest, no sideskirts or rear skirts/bumper. bad combo? i need to see a pic of this thing in black.

oh and he said he has the fogs w/out the bulbs as well.

im not a big fan of any "evo style" anything. i only like the reverse hood scoops. unfortunatly we dont have any of those offered for our cars. otherwise the bumpers seem to stick out too far and they just dont flow well enough. "evo style" screams rally to me as well as AWD... we are RWD.

RWD > AWD...

hmm. that's a rather tough decision... 50 bux seemed like a helluva deal...but then again i dont have a 89+ grille setup and the comment about the style makes sence. i dont quite like the round fogs on the supra....and sadly the holes on this bumper scream "put fogs in me"

well i'm still not convinced that this would look good on my car so...if you can do that...

i'd love to see more pics of that front end.... that one has some weird shadow problems and the foglights look like POO

ok with knowing/remembering his sn, i tracked down a few more pics.... and i still dont know what to think. one problem would be the fogs...i wouldnt know what to do and/or if i could keep the stockers and mount them (not in the circle holes...somewhere else)

well he did run up to me to ask about it, but i'm not sure if he noticed which year in the mkIII body style it is. i guess i'd have to call him.

but i suppose its 50 dollars better spent elsewhere. thanks for the help guys, i think the first kit is decent, that last one, not soo good, and neither is really worth taking my car apart for.

i need to finish some stereo work and that 50 bux will come in handy in that respect...

although he did say that he didn't care at all about it and just wanted to find someone to take it, so maybe he'd go even lower? i dunno though it would just sit in my garage as well unless i could find a buyer on here. and i told him about the site so he might be doing that sometime soon.

i didnt realize they had a pre and post 89 nose cone for the evo style.... i actually like it better on the pre89.

really though its your car and if you like it (especially for $50!) id get it.

Maxx Evo, some like it , some don't, I like it better than the other versions, it has a bigger I/C opening. Harder to find though, they're out of business.
