While driving my '87 Supra which has a 7MGE and a 5spd I will notice what appears to be a miss (engine sputters, tach needle flutters). I've tried to narrow down the problem and have replaced the Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, etc. this past week. The distributor and TPS, EGR valve, vaccum modulator and 02 sensor are all fairly new and were dialed in great (ran perfect for 20,000 miles after install) What really gets me is that I can drive the car 15 miles a day for a week straight and it will not do it, but then, out the blue she will break up around 2500 rpm for around ten seconds and then be fine. I would really like to get this figured out as I am looking forward to taking the supra on its yearly run from NJ to Canada again this year... Any ideas guys??
