It just seems hard to believe someone as tough as him would end up dieing because his bike ran out of gas and then he dies of thirst in the desert. He wrote on his myspace page, that he was going so deep in the desert that if his equipment failed then he would probably die, and that's exactly what happened. I didn't know if anyone else had seen this or even cared about the UFC, but I enjoy watching it and hated to see him die.

It didnt say he didnt have water. He said "im going fully geared up, not like into the wild" or something like that. He probably died of heat exhaustion. And you know it was extreme because those guys do go through some very hard training. And making weight usually involves severely dehydrating yourself and losing 10 lbs or more in just water by sitting or working out in a sauna with a plastic suit on. Sucks to see him go that way, but he knew it could happen i guess

I guess it's another testimate to add to the general rule to never go into extreme conditions alone.
