Hey,

I got error code 24, 31 and 52.

24 - Intake air Temp Sensor Signal
31 - Air Flow Meter Signal
52 - Knock Sensor Signal

Does anyone have any "experience" with any of these codes? If so how was it solved?

Both codes 24 and 31 are from the AFM, make sure it's plugged in properly

Code 52 is a knock sensor problem, the wires going to the knock sensors fail, or they could be damaged.
Knock sensors are under the intake take a peak and see if there are any hanging wires.

Thanks for reply.

The AFM i plugged in properly. I plugged it out while the engine was running, rev'ed it a bit and there was a very noticeable difference. Do you think part of the AFM is defect, and the AFM should be replaced?

Do you a further description on where the knock sensor is placed? Is it visible in this pic?

Thanks

If you unplug the MAF sensor while car is on then it will throw a the code out. Plug it back in while the car is off. Now reset the codes by pulling out the EFI fuse (for 15sec) and putting back in.

As for code 52 (knock sensor) location
here's a picture I got while back I had the problem with code 52 to, there are two for 7mgte and 1 for 7mge...

Yea that's great to hear, if codes comes back then there still a problem. If not then your good. Usually 52 comes on for the MAF to so maybe your 52 will go out and stay out. But if 52 comes back then you have to check your knock sensor. Hope that helps
