Engine smoke?

im getting smoke out the exhaust and possibly oil, It seems to happen when I get off the gas. The turbo elbow does not have oil in it. I have a new aftermarket turbo and JDM motor. I cant tell what color the smoke is but it smells like oil and burns my eyes lol. Where could it come from?

Blowby from the PCV maybe.

I dont have the PCV lines hooked to the intake right now they are just open could that cause it? (I am not done putting everything on)

So this is the first time it's ran ?

Could just be Oil from sitting.

Get everything hooked up and see how it behaves these motors are a "system" everything is there for a reason.

sounds like turbo seals to me, but that doesnt make sense.

yea the turbo is new though.. my old one I poped because I ran too much oil pressure with 8 mm shim, now im running 4 mm shim and 20 at idle 65 PSI high rpm

65 is good for stock redline!

Where is the drain going to?

yeah, but the idle pressure sucks.... Make sure the turbo drain isn't stopped up, or too high. Could also be oil from the engine sitting around and running past valve stem seals if this is the first time this motor has been run.

the motor has been running for an hour or so and its still like that though the drain is in the oil pan above oil level next to the stock oil cooler drain. When I rev it and hold it at like 3 or 4 its fine only when I let off, it seems like oil but I guess it could be gas but I dont think so maybe the high oil pressure from before could of messed up some seals in the motor also? =(
