Well folks, just got my engine and tranny out of the car, so much for my last good run at the strip. With the help of my wife and son, he's 12, it's out and now the tear down begins.

Actually they are stock JDM Pistons. the head is good and flat, I bent 2 exhaust valves, anybody got any? I ordered a set of pistons, but waiting on the crank to come back from polish. So we'll see. Oh and the tranny is in the shop. Anybody ever heard of Red Eagle clutches?IHI-RHC7 said:

as far as the clutches, i have not heard of red eagle. all ive really seen are the raybestos blue plate.

Dave things change quickly, i have to go get my tranny from the dude i dropped it off, found out that a fellow i work with had all the tranny stuff at his house to do rebuilds, also i can get a jdm tranny for 1/4 of what he is quoting me. I smell some ripping going on. Just because it's a Toyota tranny.
