haha, usa
I let my friend drive my 87 turbo and he said he noticed something strange.

When I drive normally, I shift between 3k and 4k rpms. When he drove, he shifted a lot earlier then me which caused the engine to "lugg" as he called it.

While he would be accelerating so softly, the car would "lug". Sorry for this stupid explination, but it would be like this...

dun duun duuun duuuuun duuuuuuun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....... and around 3k rpms it would even out and sound normal.

What could my problem be?

either that, or when you shift at too low of an rpm, the motor struggles to keep the vehicle moving. try shifting from second right to fifth gear. see if it does the same thing. chances are, it will. just dont shift so low in the rpm range. ;)
