I need couple mounting tabs for my harness. You know, the one's that push into the firewall to hold the harness in place. Can you get these from a normal hardware store or maybe the Toyota dealer?

Or does anyone have an alternative method they used to secure their harness to the firewall?

Thanks in advance. :)

The clamp style with the latching push pin? I've seen them in specialty hardware stores (mom and pop owned Ace and TruValue). I don't think Home Depot or Lowes carry anything like the stock plastic clamps, but they do carry rubber coated meat straps with a bolt hole. You could use one of those and get a package of 1/4" plastic push fasteners.

McMaster-Carr has some that'll work for replacing the majority of our wire harness clamps. Go to http://www.mcmaster.com/ and search for "cable mounts".

DigiKey also carries alot of fasteners, but they're easiest to find the right one if you've got their printed catalog. www.digikey.com

I actually think DigiKey's probably got the best selection, but minimum orders may be an issue with some parts.

you can get them from toyota , you just need to determine which ones from a newer toyota would work (mid 90's camry and up ?!?) and order some. the dealer has a chart at the end of each wiring section on the epc that shows you the radius/diameter of the holders.

or.....

....junkyard scrounging!
