Engine Codes

Today I checked my engine codes for the first time since I have owned the code, after I started the car the check engine light flashed continuously (No codes), but then When I blipped the throttle it threw a code #32. When the car returned to idle the code went away. Next I raised to the rpms to about 3500 and help it and a code #31,but once the car returned to idle the code went away. Now what the hell does that mean? Do I have a code or don't I? Can someone help me out?

i know whats wrong its a N/A thats why, lol but for real man check the TSRM and see what the codes mean and then inspect what the TSRM tells you. Hope that helps a little.

code 32= air flow meter signal on the na's and on the turbos it is hac sensor signal 87-89. check the afm see if its still good. if not i have one ill sell ya cheap. lol

Why don't the codes show up at idle? Is the only way to check afm in the TSRM or is there another way? If the TSRM is the only way then I need to pick up a meter tomorrow

Also if it is the AFM wouldn't the car run funny when driving around?

continuous flashing = no codes

blipping the throttle with the diag block jumpered checking codes will cause you to throw a code. 32, i think. i can't find that info right now.

what was happening that made you check codes?

Nothing really happened to make me want to check. I just saw someones post about checking engines codes and how the check engine light doesn't stay on even when there is a code and since I have only had the car for about 20 days I have just been trying to go back and fix everything the previous owner screwed up, so I was just really checking to be sure there weren't any codes and so I know how to check if I ever do get a check eninge light.
