Today, I replaced the spark plugs, and cleaned the throttle body and y-pipe for the first time in my 87 N/A Supra.:aigo: (man were they nasty). I also wanted to flush the radiator and replace it with Zerex G-05 coolant. I flushed it several times with water and I am ready to fill it with 50/50 coolant. This may sound crazy, but I am not sure exactly where the thread sealant goes on the engine block drain cock which it calls for in the TSRM. Is it just supposed to be like thread locker on the peice it threads into, or is it supposed to go onto the tappered edge that actually seals it?
I know you guys have probably done this a hundred times, thanks for any responses.
