and maybe some sneak peak into my build which I would share but i like to keep shit to myself. Anyway i started to do some powder coating for myself and anyone else who wants things done for cheap ;)

I start out by removing the paint and dirt.

Installed on my old/current engine. I chipped the left one some when i put them in the car...I wasn't thinking and i let it bang around in the box, it was a cold night and i was in a hurry cause of the snow storm.

Using an industrial electric oven. The finish on the chrome depends on how smooth the surface on the metal is. Valve cover surface is rough. I was going to use the clear coat but went with the candy instead.

starting out with the harbofreight and using powder from eastwood and summit, hopefully i will upgrade the gun with the one from eastwood.

fooking harbor freight doesnt show much. what all did you use? I can see myself using this on alot of stuff.

IIRC the harbor freight gun is made by eastwood. If your looking for a nicer gun later on down the road check out caswell. You going to have to spend a few hundred more but it has adjustable kv settings like the much more expensive guns so you can do multiple coats.

yea i also looked at caswell...they have great stuff
