my headlight,tail lights,and the light inside works but nothin else.car doesnt crank,gauges dont work.can anyone help me out here please

Security problems? lol.... I did this once at Target at 4am..... it pretty much sucks.... lock and unlock the car from the outside (drivers side) That's what this sounds like to me anyway........

A weak battery can still power up the head lights. As for other lights, would have to see the car. Check fuses.
What year is the car? If you are new enough and have in integration relay, it could be fubar.
