Electrical problem

Hello everyone, I am having a bit of a problem with my car's electrical system. I have a 1987 supra turbo; The car started up just fine, and everything worked. However, after I drove for a few minutes the gauges stopped operating, except for the Speedometer. Also, the power windows stopped functioning. The car starts and runs fine, but the gauge cluster is out as well as the power windows.

Has this happened to anyone, or can anyone help me to possibly identify the problem? The battery is brand new btw.

The 7.5A guage power circuit runs the power window relay.

Unfortunately, this doesn't help your problem. It sound like a bad connection either in the power or ground side of the guage circuit. I've never had this problem.

Oh, the rear window defogger probably doesn't work either. The defog relay is on the same power circuit.
