Electrical help wanted

I just bought my winter car, a 1996 mazda 626 es. I paid $2000cad from a local auction and it was saftied. I have a problem with my dash lights when I use my turn signals. The dash lights disappear when I move the signal lever ever so slightly, however they turn back on when I turn off the signal and position the lever correctly (very minor movement any direction). I know it isn't a supra problem so mods please move this thread if you feel it is desired. Any help is appreciated.

The headlights and all are turned on by rolling the knob on the turn signal switch?? Right?? Good chance the switch is bad. You'll probably need to replace it. Its not a real hard job, just a take your time and do it job.:icon_bigg

yea, headlights are turned on. just a slight movement in the switch and the dash lights turn off. Thanks for the info.
