Ok I grounded the white wire with green trace from my dimmer switch because I though that was the culprit. It's not my gauge light go on an off on there own I turn the lights on the will turn on then turn off randomly then turn back on. Turn the headlight on the gauge lights and all tail lights/running light flicker on and off I can hear the relay clicking on and off. Then I turn the headlights off but keep the gauge lights on they turn off and go back on. Sometime when I use the turn signal the go off and on it seems like when ever I touch the knob to turn the light on the go hay wire if I move the knob slowing the will turn off and on. I'm very confused. I have no idea what it is

Right after I wrote all that i just was just fucking around with the little turn signal/light column shift thing and I noticed this ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363911946.574937.jpg

This was a little bit separated I pulled it more apart and took the pic those little copper strips arnt getting contact with the light/gauge contacts that's why they keep turning on it off. It's very loose if I push them together and move the knob to turn the lights on everything works great because its getting contact. So how should I fix it? Get on of the j yard

You may need a new switch, the 89 I had for a short while would do something similar on occasion. If I touched the switch just right it would flicker the lights on/off.

Edit: Wow many posts before mine....
