Hi, just had to show off my latest creation.
Sold my MAFT so my modded K/N filter was useless :icon_mad:

Made this up as a temp solution, saab filter, carpenters line, zippers, a tinnlidd? and som PL400 gunk to seal it up. I know it looks shitty but noone will see it.

Going FFIM later and then I will get something decent.

cheers

Haha. honestly... that's very creative, I don't know if I'd do it, but cheers to you if it works.
BTW they sell like $20 cone's at autozone or something for a temp. thing

A: Thank you for the question. I deciphered most of that the best I could, however, some of it still remains a mystery as to what you were trying to say. As far as the application, yes. It will fit a Civic with minor modifications. I do have NOS stickers if you would like those instead, I can throw them in. This filter will really show it's true colors when you put your turbo out the hood. Placing the filter outside of the engine bay away from heat is one of the best ideas. Putting it straight out the hood places it in a direct path of cool, clear air. I can guarantee that if you put this filter on at the same time as your turbo kit, you will realize huge power gains. thanks for looking!

The small K/N filter that fits costs in US$ 110!!! This mockup was 15$.
We do not have lots of cheap parts over here, nothing is going to break apart or screw up my engine if thats what you think.

Going FFMI and will NOT buy another stupidly overpriced K/N.
Can only say again that I wish we had you market here with your prices, do not call us cheap. Say a SPEC stage 3 costs, guess.... WRONG

800+$ yes you read right unfortunately.

cheers

Where is "over here"?

As for going cheap, just remember you get what you pay for... On my last set up, I bought a "cheap" filter to get me by until I sold my set up, and when I took the filter off, you could see through it, where all the red paper/foamy filter shit got sucked out of the metal mesh and into my motor... I've never seen a K&N element fall apart like that... And not only the element, but the whole cone section fell off the frame when I set it on the table... I guess the suction from my turbo was holding it in place, lol...

So yeah, save your money and get a QUALITY air filter, it's the FIRST line of defense for your motor... If you skimp out on that, you might as well skimp out on everything...
