i have a 90's ttr. its been cat deleted. the egt probe has been cut off. the 2 wires that go to the probe has been sealed off separately. the funny thing is that the warning light in the dash intermittently comes on. when its on, pressing the brake pedal makes it turn off. once the brake pedal is released, the light is on again. i've look at diagrams for 1jzgte, 7mgte, 1ggte. other than possibly sharing a common ground wire, and both leading to the ecu, i cant figure out how the brake apply switch could relate to egt sensor and warning light. help!
