Okay, I think I've got a fundamental wiring issue mistake.

As soon as i connect the battery, *POP* my EFI relay and Alt 100amp fuse blow.

So, here's my battery connections

(+): Alt, Starter, Harness
(-): Block, Body

Here's a pic of the body ground connection:

There's 3 sets of wires meeting up:
-White/black from the fusebox
-Black (~10ga, 2 of them), also from the fuse box area
-2ga to the battery

Another area, underneath the dash... the previous owner, who knows wtf he was doing. Anyway, I found a fairly large (10-12ga) black/white wire (with some spliced ends.. wtf) out of the connector that looks like was keeping the two together. I figured I had just knocked it loose while working in the cabin.

Was I wrong to reconnect that wire?

The other possibility i'm considering is that maybe the (+) between the Alt and the battery has pretty thin insulation. With the amount of amps going from the battery to the alt, think it would be possible for it to "bleed" through a little? I'm going to double check the insulation to make sure there's no tears or cuts in it... but its routed right along the front top of the motor with the rest of the wireharness.

Annnddd... might a goof in the re-plugging of the body connectors near the ECU cause this level of short?

wait...what line do you have running straight from the alternator to the battery?

Every supra i've seen has one connection to the body harness and one to the starter on the positive terminal...that's it.

Yea i'm thinking thats where i screwed up... could it be that those two 10/8ga that i have on the body ground should actually be going to the alt?

Yep, that's it.
