Please post pics if you can.... I obviously havnt owned my mk3 for very long, so bare with me here.

What is the differance between the 86-88 bumpers and the 89-92? Is there a differance between the NA and the turbo models? Can the two bumper styles be interchanged?

Thanks
Ryan

pre 89 bumpers have no nosepiece.. its just a str8 across bumper.. there is a thread in here about the pre 89 bumpers.. the 89+ have the nose pieces .. personally i like the pre89 bumper it looks more aggressive and more out there.. 89+ tends to hide things more.. therefore the intercooler is alot harder to see and so forth.. the bumpers are interchangeable.. i have yet to take off my front bumper yet as i am new to supras too .. as far as owning them. i heard there is alot more difficulty in getting off the 89+ bumpers which is what i have:cry:

No difference between turbo and non-trubo. 86.5-88 has more rectangular fog lights and a different looking grille. Very few lip options.

89-92 has the bumper with the "hump" in the middle, different looking grille and more square fogs. Because of the hump in the middle there are two smaller grilles instead of one long one and shorter corner signals compared to 86.5-88.

The later model ones have supports for the "hump" in the header panel (body piece between bumper and hood with emblem on it). To change to this style from the older style you need this piece, though people do it without this piece and say you don't necessarily need it. Lots of lip options.

From what I can remeber, pretty much every aftermarket bumper has the "hump". I might be wrong, but like I said I can't remember.

any way the wind blows
Yup. What all these guys said. Fog lights, front turn signals and front lip are different.

agreed with above, but you could always add a lip if your interested in keepin stock bumper.

I really want the same style front bumper era has on his supra but i'll get it one day,
